Clutch repair

If the clutch slides and/or rattles upon starting or when the automobile is loaded to full power / torque, it is a symptom that the clutch is worn. Changes in the “feel” of the clutch pedal, such as if the clutch does not lock until the second half of the pedal travel when pressed or otherwise feels different than typical, are generally indicators of the need for repair.

Chalking / squeaking from the engine is a common indicator of wear and tear on a dual-mass flywheel, particularly after a cold start. It’s simple to notice: while the switch is kept down, the sound is slowed down or entirely lost, and when the switch is lifted, the sound resumes.

If you recognize these symptoms with your vehicle, we recommend you call us for Towing because it can be dangerous to drive when your vehicles clutch is damaged.
