Hybrid Cars
A gasoline engine is also included in the hybrid vehicle. The emissions of the gasoline engine are measured according to the engine type; therefore, the hybrid passes through the same emission measurement as other cars since there is no electric power. The emission limits are same. Because of a malfunctioning exhaust, a hybrid vehicle can back up the emission measurement where an ordinary car cannot. The battery of a hybrid electric car cannot be charged by plugging it in. Instead, the battery is charged by the internal combustion engine and regenerative braking
Because the hybrid’s engine also runs on gasoline, it requires all the same maintenance as a regular car does, with the same frequency.
Hybrid vehicles requires the same maintenance as any other vehicle, with the same frequency. Hybrid cars still need regular oil changes, belt replacements and tire alignment and replacement.
