Clutch repair

If you notice the clutch slipping or vibrating when the car starts moving, it could be a worn clutch.

The problems are more pronounced when the engine is under heavy load or at full torque. Abnormalities in clutch pedal operation – for example, movement only occurring at the very top of the pedal’s position – also indicate a need for repair.

Engine vibration or a whining sound immediately after a cold start may indicate wear of the dual-mass flywheel. Such a sound often quiets down when the clutch pedal is pressed and returns when the pedal is released.

If you notice these signs, we recommend contacting our towing service. A damaged clutch can impair the car’s controllability and pose a safety risk in traffic.
